I placed an order with www.mysocialbook.com. I got one for each of my Facebook accounts. It is a very cool way to record the posts that you have shared over a range of time. You can even create a book with just the "best of" for the previous years.

Pros:

1. Looks very professional with clear pages
2. You can control the date range, comments, status and pictures shown in page.
3. You can select the color of the book
4. You can remove some of your posts before printing

Cons:

1. You cannot modify the book including the pictures so you have to update your Facebook page first to make it like you want it. This includes the size of the pictures and layout.

2. You cannot change the sizes of the pictures.

I will be doing a follow up post when I receive my books. I got these images off Internet.

I have not posted anything since February and I probably will not be posting anything crafty for a while. I will be documenting other things though and updating my Facebook page. www.facebook.com/black.diamond371.

Works In Progress (WIP) Conducting Creative Art Play

Altered Light Switch and Outlet Cover

I decided to conduct some creative art play using the Creative Paperclay (CP), Prima Art Basics, Penny Black Stamp, Inka Gold and use my favorite Princeton paint brushes. I really love all the different ways I was able to employ CP ever since the first time I used it sometime in early November. I LOVE IT SO MUCH...that I competed for a design team member spot and was selected. YEAH!!!

One of my ATC members after a class I instructed on Altered Playing Cards mentioned that the same I selected to demonstrate the use of CP would look good on a light switch. I agreed and they did not think anything of it until I went to my local home improvement store to browse and get some plastic containers.

I contacted that member to see if she was ok with me using that idea for a future project. The picture below only shows the an image stamped into CP and attached with Prima Art Basics 3D Gloss to ensure it stayed attached but when I adhere CP to an altered book and altered liquor bottle, I just use water and use a paint brush to apply. This image is the beginning stages. I will have a tutorial published on Creative Paperclay website later today or tomorrow (Jan 31, 2015).

Here's some of the items I plan on using in future projects this year. I want to compete in a couple local fairs and a few online competitions. I also enjoy participating in swaps and currently working on an altered book that is due Feb 2.

Finding New Homes for my Art Babies

I will reward myself big if I finish half the list by Aug 8, 2015

my camera). YEAH!!! Making my list, checking it twice and I

will categorize it later by Dec 5, 2015 (so big I will announce

that day.) and give myself another big reward. Let's Rock.

Altered Outlet and Light Switch Covers

I really enjoyed creating this project as my 1st Creative Paperclay(CP) Design Team blog post. I had a few other things in mind, but one of my members of my Artist Trading Cards (ATC) Meetup Group mentioned that the Prima Bloom Girl stamps would look nice on an outlet cover and I ran with the idea. I got to admit I messed up the first one by putting my purse of top of the image when I was returning home from shopping at Custom Impressions.

I will have instructions and products I used available on Creative Paperclay's blog and their website to find out more information about the product is CP's website.

Denim Mini Album 2

I created another denim album using Pink Paislee binder cover and their paper products like the resistance paper, page protectors and tabbed pages. This project is VERY important to me because it is a work in progress to serve as a motivation and reflection resource. I will be putting several pictures of myself and adding journal notes about my goal setting techniques for the year and what I enjoy and why. I cannot wait to finish this project!!!
